ABOUT ME/US:  I, Donna,  have a degree from State University of New York-- in metals and glass. 

I LOVE color. So, it is only natural that the jewlery I create for my customers and collectors would be bold and bright!  The vibrant dichroic glass cabochons I use are created in my studio and are inspired by colors in the natural world around me.  I seek out stones that are colorful,  have character, and inspire me.  I also search the world for gemstones that are truly special pieces to use in my work.  The wearable art that I create is not for the timid or weak.  To me adornments should say something about the wearer as well as about the artist--a kind of a collaboration.  I think my jewelry does just that!

David cuts many of our stones, helps me formulating production  techniques, does some of the basic silverwork, and is my support system.

My studio is located in the scenic Hudson Valley area of New York--an area that still has local farms and still retains its rural flavor.  I am surrounded by trees and wildlife.   The Catskill Mountains are our playground.

My work is sold at juried Art & Craft shows throughout the east coast as well as online at this website.

How I Do Business...A customer and I were chatting via email about doing business on the internet. She made my day with the following comments but it explains how I do business in a nutshell.

YOU, as a customer or potential customer mean a lot to me.  YOU are my job.  Helping you through the selection  process, or designing a special piece for you is what I am here for.  YOU get all my attention. On the home page of this website on the top left side there is a note in purple to notify you if I am "IN" and the studio is open or out on the road doing a show...otherwise, assume I am in and you should receive a response within 8 hours (sometimes it is actually minutes as I check my email often).
